Strategy, story,
and systems for
mission-driven work.

I’m a creative strategist and communications leader with 9+ years of experience helping mission-driven organizations turn complex work into clear strategy, compelling narrative, and practical systems for action. I’ve partnered with senior leaders to secure major funding, launch programs, reposition organizations, and align teams and partners around high-stakes work. My deepest experience is in climate, but my practice travels across missions: bringing structure, story, and momentum to work that matters.

What I do

01

Shaping direction, priorities, and positioning with senior leadership.

I help organizations clarify direction, align leaders around priorities, and translate big-picture goals into practical strategies, workplans, and decisions. I’m especially strong at seeing the whole system: where mission, resources, and relationships need to come into alignment.

02

Messaging, editorial, and storytelling that build trust and move audiences to act.

I translate complex work into clear, compelling narratives across brand, messaging, and media, helping organizations explain who they are, why their work matters, and how to make it resonate with the audiences they need to reach.

03

Turning research and community knowledge into decision-ready insight.

I synthesize research, data, expert input, and lived experience into insights that support strategy, decision-making, and action. My strength is making complex evidence usable: clarifying what is known, what is uncertain, and what it means for the choices people need to make.

04

Building the plans, systems, and partnerships that move work from idea to delivery.

I build the systems that make ambitious ideas real. Across roles, I’ve managed cross-functional programs, coordinated teams and partners, created planning and tracking systems, and turned ambitious ideas into organized workstreams with clear ownership, timelines, and deliverables.

Selected work

A few ways I’ve connected the big picture to meaningful change.

01 — Organizational Strategy

Turned a Five-Year Vision into a $5.6M Climate Justice Initiative

UW Climate Impacts Group2020–2022

An ambitious climate justice vision needed to become concrete enough to fund, staff, partner around, and implement.

Strategy

02 — Communications

Repositioned a National Behavioral Health Organization for Growth

Recovery Café Network2024–2026

A growing, dynamic national organization had outgrown its public narrative and needed to clarify its identity and place in the behavioral health landscape for the first time in a decade.

CommunicationsStrategy

03 — Research & Evidence

Shaped Evidence-Based Strategy for Ocean Climate Action

Urban Ocean Lab2022–2024

A rare federal policy window opened space for bold coastal climate action, but to meet the moment, ambition needed to be backed by rigor.

ResearchStrategy

04 — Programs & Operations

Delivered a Complex Climate Adaptation Initiative Across Borders

UW Climate Impacts Group · Cascadia Partner Forum2020–2022

Shared ecosystems crossed political borders, while decision-making was spread across two countries, multiple institutions, and nearly 50 partners who needed one coordinated climate adaptation plan.
